Our Fees
Geelong Palliative Care Group’s service fees for all inpatients at private hospitals follows the policy of the individual hospital. Clients residing at Aged Care Facilities will not incur any out of pocket fee for their private consultations or episodes of care.
Patients residing in their own home, who are being reviewed on a regular basis may be subject to a gap fee in order to facilitate their ongoing care.
In these cases, patients will receive an invoice, mailed to their home, via our billing service providers, namely A2 Medical Billing. We allow a 14 day payment period for all invoices to be settled.
In order to facilitate ongoing patient care Geelong Palliative Care Group waiver any out of pocket costs for patients and their families, whenever possible.
Service Fees may be waivered depending on client’s individual financial circumstances. We would like to continue to do this for as many patients as possible for many years to come. To ensure we can continue to care for this vulnerable people in our community, we would greatly appreciate if anyone who is in a position to help to make a donation, no matter how small, could do so.
